The Important Stuff
I only accept two to three wedding cake orders a week which will guarantee you peace of mind that your cake is being crafted with 100% attention. While I recommend 4-5 months’ notice for all wedding cake bookings and 3/4 weeks’ notice for all other orders is recommended but occasionally openings do become available so I can work to a shorter time scale. It is not always possible for me to follow up on every quote that I provide. It is therefore a client’s responsibility to respond accordingly and booking spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Extensive decorations using (royal)icing, sugar flowers or cake toppers will be charged for separately.
Payment
Please note that a quote from Fab Cakes does not guarantee your booking. Only a non-refundable deposit will do that and the balance in full to be settled two weeks before the date of when the order is due. If an order is placed within 3 weeks of the event, then full payment is required. Pay Deposit by PayPal
Delivery/Collection
Delivery and setup to venues throughout Leinster and other areas can be arranged for an additional fee and costs provided upon request. Orders can also be collected from my location in Dunboyne and full instructions on storage and transport will be provided upon request. If an order is collected from my location by clients or their nominated third party, Fab Cakes will not be liable for any damage to the order once it has left my premises.
Alterations
Alterations can be made to your order no later than two weeks prior to collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the overall cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.
Cancellations
If production of your order has commenced and you cancel, you will be charged for any components that have already been made.
